We’re Passionate About Supporting Women’s Health
At Inspiring Pathways Counselling, we believe in supporting women with addressing issues that influence their quality of life and that holistic well-being is integral for supporting women’s health.
Many experiences influence women’s health and well-being. Certain life experiences, including social and societal experiences, can influence the development of problems as well as influence access to relevant, respectful, client-centered services.
Our counsellor provides professional, confidential, client-centered counselling services to assist women with moving towards increased health and empowerment in their lives.
Why We Provide Women-Centered Services
There are many societal influences and issues that affect most women at least to some degree.
For example, while not all women will experience eating disorders, it is not uncommon for women to experience internalized body shame and develop unhelpful ideas about their weight and worth, and engage in practices to control weight.
Along with experiences related to gender, experiences related to age, race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status can also influence women’s health and well-being.
At Inspiring Pathways Counselling, we work with our clients to use a critical lens to identify larger social factors that influence health and well-being and reduce unhelpful internalized shame and self-blame.
We support our clients with feeling more empowered to make intentional choices that reflect their own values and interests and positively influence their health and well-being.

At Inspiring Pathways, we support women with expressing and making sense of their experiences, identifying and addressing helpful and unhelpful ideas and messages, enhancing positive coping and care, identifying values and values-based actions, and supporting resilience and growth.
At Inspiring Pathways Counselling, therapeutic support plans are tailored to each client’s needs, interests, and what they hope to get from counselling.
Our counsellor will work with you to identify and create relevant goals that support you with feeling empowered to improve your health and well-being.
You may decide you’d like to focus on one specific area, or you may choose to focus on underlying issues that influence multiple areas of your life. Your counsellor will support you with this process to help you feel confident with your goals.
Flexible Service Options
We offer a variety of counselling service options to reflect our clients’ diverse lifestyles and needs.
Individual In-Person Counselling Session
This type of counselling session is a 50 minute, individual in-person counselling session with our therapist.
Appointments are available for residents living in Vancouver and in the Lower Mainland.
Secure Video Chat Session
This type of counselling session takes place through a secure video chat and is for both short-term and long-term counselling clients.
Clients have the option to book for 30-50 minute sessions with the therapist.
Confidential Phone Session
This type of counselling session takes place by phone and is available for both short-term and long-term clients.
Clients have the option to book between 30-50 minute sessions.
Workshops and Groups
We are pleased to provide educational workshops and therapeutic groups throughout the Lower Mainland.
